an aesthetic vibe in art
BTS makes me aware that art not always must be disturbingly unique, sometimes it just can be pretty. Maybe, I, as a novice designer should not think in this way, I should make my best to find something that completely knocks out a modern architecture, but in my view is little artificial. That is a reason, why I am going to create a building, with focusing on the visual side not practical or functional.
That brings me a thought about Art Nouveau. Main purpose of this Franch style popular around 1900, was to enrich outcomes with tasteful character, owing to flowing lines and organic shapes. Art Nouveau was concern mostly architecture and decorative art, while it was paralleled to symbolism in fine art.

The Casa Batlló, Antoni Gaudí and Josep Maria Jujol (1904–1906):
Along with Viennese The Secession Building, The Casa Batlló is the most recognisable Secession building. It is not linked to my project, as the destiny is compliantly different, however, the flower motive and flowing shape have some kind of similarity to my project. Additionally, I think that both my Gaudí and Jujol's project and mine too, seem to be taken from a fairy tale.
Secession took inspiration from Japanese drawings and xylograph, while outcome from Asia culture is also base for my project. As you can see below, a natural forms and structures took a huge part in this movement, particularly the curved lines of plants and flowers. To be honest, it is random photo, as in this aspect I am not inspired by one artist, but by whole theory which is represented by secession and Art Nouveau art. The drawings are not realistic, the artists did not pay attention on perspective or three-dimensional background, the purpose of them was to make the decorative and pretty. My project match to this also. Flowers are kind of significant in campaign Love Myself and also like it was in my mindmap I wanted to use flowers as a symbol of my belonging to nurture.

In At Nouveau stained glasses commonly were popular. I also would like to use a coloured glass , even it I am tent to go in more monochromatic vision. The glass flower designed my me, are going to be only in pink and that is more importand they will be 3D. Nonetheless, I believe it is good to check how the most fame stein glass was look.
The Stein Glass, Stanislaw Wyspianski Friendliest Guest House in Krakow:
This two are crated by Polish bard, who is considered as super hipper multi-talented in Poland. He is representative of Polish secession and symbolism (he is almost as God for everyone who is not in high school and is not pressured to read his strange poems). His stein glass gave me the imprecation how my own design could look like. However, it was only for small scale, so I started to look up for something more iconic.
Similarly, I want to use a coloured glass as one of the main materials. For me, stained glass is associated with Gotic and with cathedrals, and even if I consider Sante-Chapelle as one of the most amazing buildings I had ever seen, I would like to make a step in the future not stick to medieval art.
Hence, I believe the research helped me understand me more about aestheticism. I clearly know which elements I will apply. I would mark that I only use monochromatic palette around one colour, due to my inspiration is BTS's campaign which is mainly in pastels pink and less purple palette.
Although these examples do have a striking visual impact, they still have a function and are a usable space - this should still be a consideration when designing your building.
