localisation
I was straggling with founding localisation destined for my project. BTS members came from South Korea, so obviously it was my first idea to put my building there. Nonetheless, currently, BTS are super word-wide.They fans called ARMYs are around the whole word, therefore I deeply believe that most of them would have willing (and spent a lot of money) to see my on their own eyes. I started to looking for optional localisation:

Firstly, I thought about Europe. Last year BTS had tour around the world, and for the first time since long time when they had visited in Europe. Despite the fact that their contests was on the biggest arenas in biggest European capitol cities, tickets was sold out after five minutes on each of eighth contest. They fight themselves ways to get tickets, however it was pointlessly for most of them. Nonetheless, if you look closely most of European cities is historic or old-fashioned. My building would not be matching to the whole panorama. I would like create aesthetic area, and it can not be based on contrastive comparison. That is the reason why I moved to another localisation:

I came up with idea to localise it in the USA, because the fame which they had achieved start with their promoting there. The American interviews and events where they performed make them popular, they even had been promoting themselves with song Fake Love (album Tear) in American talk-shows. However, after looking up on American typical cities, I change my mind, as them seem to stack in the 30s with modernistic look. Do not understand me wrong, I quaintly dig modernism, however, it is boring to make such an art nowadays. Furthermore, putting my design in such a cubical, mighty area would be compliantly destroyed its aesthetic (which I tried so hard to reach T<T). If you look closely to my design, you will see that it seems to be buoyant and bright, so there is no any sensible reason to put it into boxy, heavy area. Sometimes a compression of classical and modern architecture may be interesting or even welcome (I tried to do that in my first major project, it would be take the easy way out for me to do it again).

As I could expected, finally the localisation is going to be in Asia. In my view, presently the Asian architecture is tend to develop really fast, and become the most innovative (they are going to built city closed in glass pyramid in Japan). Hence, even if my own building is not so pathbreaking, I still wish to put some of my designs in Asia. So why not now, when I can do what ever I want?
My favourite Korean buildings:
The Presidential Archives Korea in multi-functional Administrative City, SAMOO Architects & Engineers,

Buk Seoul Museum of Art, SAMOO Architects & Engineers

The Ecorium Project of The National Ecological Institute,
SAMOO Architects & Engineers and Grimshaw Architects
As you are able to view upper, Asian architecture, especially Korean in this case, has own aesthetic. It is tough to explain what caught my heart so much. I suppose my project would be compose really nicely next to similar buildings. I am not able to highlight the directly connection between my building and those three, as I do not stylised my building on any stile or cultural character. However, I believe the aesthetic can be seen as similarity, each have sense of fragility and innovativeness .

This is a really nice post that outlines that clear logic of your choice of location. I'd really like to see some development of the designs now, as we are heading into week 9 and I need to see how these are progressing.
